  News Server FAQs
InternetPeople are always asking me where I get all my music, movies, and software. I tell them from a News Server. This confuses a lot of people. I end up explaining, in great detail, about how to get files from News Servers. I wrote this FAQ so that I might not have to explain myself over and over. Plus, I can add pictures and a step-by-step on how to get the files you need.

Note:

For a much better explanation of Newsgroups/Usenet please Slyck's great write up.

  FTP How-To (Part 1)
Internet

Most people who want to transfer files over the Internet use FTP. To some this is a new term or something they have read somewhere, but don't understand it what it is or how it works. In this simple tutorial I will explain how to download, or upload files via FTP. Some people use Internet Exployer to connect to FTP sites, but this is bad for several reason. For one it does not let you resume if a transfer fails, and secondly it does not provide the speed and versatility that a real FTP application provides.

Glossostigma came to Japan in the late 80’s. At that time the Nature Aquarium was organized , but the selection of low growing foreground plants were very few. Also the only plant you could use with rocks was E. tenellus.
